EMV key load requirements Ingenico 5100

Once your credit card machine is powered on, the first step is to do a "Key Exchange". This ensures that the terminal can communicate with Helcim and vice-versa.

1) Press [#]

2) Press [8] for Host Management

3) Press [1] for Key Exchange

4) Select [YES]

The terminal should connect and display a "Succeeded" message. If the key exchange is unsuccessful, contact technical support. Press the red [X] until back to the main screen.

The next step is to do a "EMV Key Load". This loads the encryption certificates for Chip & PIN transactions.

3) Press [2] for EMV Public Key Load
